Before you send it

What speeds a quotation up

None of this is required. All of it removes a round of emails.

  • Volume in m³/s or m³/h, and whether it is at the fan or at the grille
  • Static pressure, and whether the figure includes the filter and attenuator
  • Air temperature, continuous and worst case
  • What is entrained — dust, moisture, solvent, swarf, nothing
  • The noise limit and where it is measured
  • Fire rating required, and the classification if you know it
  • The largest object that will fit through the plant room door
  • Your programme date, and whether it is real or aspirational
